Self-Catering Holiday Accommodation on the Isle of Wight
Moor Farm is set in a picturesque valley just outside the village of Godshill.
Welcome to our website where we would like to show you our four beautiful cottages and our recent addition of the Tree Field Yurt. We are nestled in a picturesque valley just outside Godshill on the Isle of Wight. The farm was bought by our family business in 2013 and the cottages came into being in 2015 when the derelict barns and outbuildings were lovingly rebuilt incorporating the best of the new and the old. The farm is situated half a mile from the main road down a private lane, so peace and tranquillity are assured. We have some animals, pigs, ducks and chickens which prove fascinating to young and old alike and provide (most of the time) a supply of fresh eggs available in the small honesty shop in the stables.
Visiting the Isle of Wight
The Red Squirrel Trail passes through the courtyard of Moor Farm, ideal for cyclists and walkers who wish to enjoy stunning wildlife habitats and breathtaking coastal scenery. The picturesque village of Godshill is only a short footpath walk away with some of the oldest architecture on the island. With a medieval church, thatched cottages, traditional tea rooms, restaurants and cafes it is well worth a visit. The popular seaside resort of Shanklin is approximately 10 minutes away, with fantastic parks, gardens and a glorious sandy beach. There are plenty of countryside trails right from the doorstep, and close by you will find a plethora of amenities for all the family to enjoy. Being nearly in the centre of the Island nothing is more than a 30 minute car journey away.
