Our cottages are heated using an environmentally-friendly combination of modern heat pumps and efficient Charnwood wood-burning stoves, which combine to significantly reduce carbon emissions. These British-made stoves use responsibly sourced, local kiln-dried wood, which is carbon neutral at source—as the carbon released during burning is balanced by that absorbed during the tree’s lifetime. They offer a cosy, authentic warmth with minimal environmental impact that provides ultimate relaxation time for your family.
Environmentally-Friendly Amenities
We use eco-conscious brands like Smol for our dishwasher and laundry products, chosen specifically for their biodegradable formulas and sustainable packaging. All soaps and toiletries provided in our cottages are also eco-friendly and responsibly sourced, ensuring your stay is not only comfortable but conscientious.
Sustainable Water Treatment
We have an onsite water treatment plant, ensuring the water we return to the environment is clean and safe. This helps us significantly reduce our ecological footprint, preserving our local ecosystem and waterways.
Cycling and EV Charging
Perfectly situated on the popular cycle route and Sunshine Trail, Moor Farm Cottages encourage guests to explore our beautiful surroundings by bike. Cycling offers a wonderful, low-carbon way to experience our stunning Isle of Wight landscapes. For guests with electric vehicles, we also provide convenient EV charging points right on site.
